ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under high
loads.
Any additional requirements must be the subject of
an agreement between the manufacturer and the
customer.
Construction
Install the grinding table and secure with the locking
screw. The grinding table can be adjusted continu-
ously
using the angle scale (9) and the locking screw (8)
from 0 ° to 45 °. The adjustable cross stop (6) en-
sures safe guidance of the workpiece.
Attention! The grinding wheel (4) must run unobstruc-
ted.
However, the distance between the grinding table (7)
and the grinding wheel (4) must not exceed 1.6 mm.
Install the stop rail (14) and fasten the Allen screws.
Attention! The sanding belt (13) must run unobstruc-
ted.
Sanding belt replacement
Unplug the mains plug.
• Loosen the Allen screw (12).
Remove the blade guard bolts. Remove the blade
guard. To loosen the sanding belt (13), move the
sanding belt tensioner (3) to the right.
Remove the sanding belt (13) towards the rear.
Install the new sanding belt in reverse order.
Attention! Observe the direction of travel on the
casing and on the inside of the sanding belt!
Unplug the mains plug. Manually move the sanding
belt (13) in the direction of travel. The sanding belt
(13) must run along the center of the sanding surface;
if this is not the case, it can be adjusted additionally
using the knurled screw (1).
Adjusting the position of the sanding belt
Loosen the Allen screw (12). Move the sanding belt
(13) upwards to the desired position. Tighten the Allen
screw (12) again to fix this position.
Replacing the sanding paper on the sanding plate
Remove the lower blade guard (15) by removing the
2 screws (16). Remove the sanding paper from the
sanding plate (4) and install a new one (clamp).
Use as a stationary machine
For permanent use, mounting on a workshop table is
recommended. To do this, mark the drilled holes: Po-
sition the grinder as it should be installed later. Mark
the position of the holes to be drilled on the workshop
table. Drill holes in the workshop table.
Place the grinder on the holes, place suitable screws
in them from above, over the holes in the grinder and
the workshop table.
Now screw on the grinder from below using washers
and suitable hexagon nuts.
Use as a mobile machine
For mobile use, mounting on a suitable base is re-
commended. You can then attach it to the appropriate
workshop table. The base should have a minimum
thickness of 19 mm and be larger than the grinder so
that there is enough space for the clamps. Mark the
holes on the base plate that need to be drilled. Follow
the last 3 steps of the „Use as a stationary machine"
section.
On / off
The grinder can be switched on by pressing the green
„1" button.
To switch off the grinder again, press the red „0"
button.
Grinding

Do not apply too much pressure. The workpiece sho-
uld move along the sanding belt (13) or sanding plate
