12.1 Daily cleaning
• with 10H2 Skin Care-Washing Lotion
Roll the sealing lip liner from the stump so the inside is on the outside.
Apply the Skin-Care wash lotion to the sealing lip liner turned inside out and then wash
thoroughly with 30° C warm water (see fig. 17).
Note!
Do not scrub the sealing lip liner with a brush. Scrubbing can roughen the surface
of the sealing lip liner which may lead to skin irritations.
• Take special care to rinse all washing lotion residue from the sealing lip liner.
• Dry the sealing lip liner with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Attention!
Make sure that the sealing lip liner does not get in contact with foreign objects or
substances (e.g. carbon fibres / glass fibres from the workshop), as they will settle
in the silicone and may cause skin irritations. The sealing lip liner must be checked
daily for damages (tears, material abrasion).
The sealing lip liner must be checked daily for damages (tears, abrasion).
Attention!
Many typical household products such as soap, deodorants, perfumes, aerosols,
alcohol sprays or peeling products can cause or contribute to skin irritations.
12.2 Weekly cleaning and disinfection
• Apply a small amount of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol, e.g. 2 – 3 splashes of 10H5 Skin-Care
Spray to a soft, clean cloth.
• Carefully wipe the entire inside of the sealing lip liner and let the disinfection agent absorb
for approx. 2 minutes.
• Place the sealing lip liner, with the fabric side out, on the drying stand and let it dry.
Note!
Do not immerse the sealing lip liner in ethyl- or isopropyl alcohol. Extended contact
will cause the sealing lip liner to become stiff and brittle.
12.3 Storage of the sealing lip liner
When the sealing lip liner is not being worn, it should be stored in a cool and dry place.
We recommend covering it with a clean plastic bag if the sealing lip liner is not used for a
longer time period.
• Place the sealing lip liner onto the drying stand supplied.
• Clean the stump (see Fig. 18).
