The microwave must not be submerged in water or other liq-
uids, nor exposed to running water or used in damp rooms, as
this may result in an electric shock.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket
– when you are cleaning or maintaining the appliance
– when you are assembling or disassembling the appliance
– if the appliance is damp or wet
– if you are no longer using the appliance
– when the appliance is unattended
– during thunderstorms.
Protect the microwave from water in droplet and spray form.
Do not let the appliance come into contact with water or oth-
er liquids. Keep the appliance, the mains cable and the mains
plug away from wash basins, sinks or similar. Should liquid
ever penetrate into the appliance, disconnect the plug from
the earthed mains socket immediately. Have the appliance
checked by a qualified specialist workshop.
Never touch the appliance or the mains cable with wet hands.

surface.
Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface if necessary.
