MAINTENANCE
• Check the pump periodically for loose or rubbing parts. Service immediately if any unusual noise,
leaks, or vibrations develop.
• Drain the pump should it be subjected to freezing temperatures. The pump requires water for lubri-
cation and must never be run dry. Refer to

Draining the Pump
1. Remove the drain plug from the pump case.
2. It will not necessarily drain all other parts of the piping system.
3. If there are any concerns with the proper procedure or necessity of
draining the suction plumbing, contact your contractor.
Jet Nozzle & Pressure Switch Adjustments
Consult the included VersaJet Nozzle Installation sheet for further instructions on nozzle switching.
Each nozzle will change the performance of the pump according to the data provided.
IMPORTANT: If installing an optional nozzle, modify the pressure switch to avoid running the pump
continuously at shut-off pressure and damaging the system. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions.

Changing the Jet Nozzle
1. Remove 3/4-inch NPT pipe
plug.
2. Remove factory installed jet
nozzle with the 7/16" Allen
wrench provided.
3. Install the desired alternate jet
nozzle to change the pump's
performance.
4. Tighten the new jet nozzle to
40 in-lbs.
5. Apply a thread sealant and replace the 3/4" NPT pipe plug.
