2. DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPONENTS
The part reference includes the following (See Fig. 1):
(A) FLEXIBLE HOSE: length 3 m (9.75 ft) specific for high pressure; provided with automatic quick
couplings; enables connection of the hydraulic head to the pump.
(B) RUCKSACK: made from sturdy fabric, allows users to store and transport the pump and acces-
sories.
(C) SHOULDER STRAP: allows users to easily transport and comfortably carry the pump during all
work phases; to be connected to the rings (1).
(D) ERCH REMOTE CONTROLLER: ergonomically designed with a comfortable grip even while
wearing work gloves. provided with a 3 m connection cable, it allows users to control the
pump by two push-buttons:
- GREEN button to activate the pump with a pulse (starting from the display off ) and to activate
the pump motor.
- RED button to oil discharge: for returning the oil to the pump tank at any time.
(E) USB CABLE (Ref. to § 6)
(F) ASC145 BATTERY FAST CHARGER (differs depending on the pump version): for recharging
the batteries supplied; has "AIR COOLED" charging technology and a processor for managing
charging cycles.
To use, carefully follow the instructions in the battery charger user manual.
(G) CB3680L RECHARGEABLE BATTERY: 36 V - 8.0 Ah high capacity Lithium Ion battery.
The battery is equipped with LED indicators that indicate the
remaining battery life at any time by pressing the
adjacent button (C):
4 LEDs illuminated: fully charged

OFF
2 LEDs illuminated: 50 % capacity
1 LED flashing: minimum charge, the battery is
almost depleted and needs to be charged.
With the battery inserted into the tool, the remain-
ing battery life can also be checked on the display,
via touch button selection (Ref. to § 4).
The screen shown alongside indicates that the battery voltage has dropped
r
below a minimum safety threshold; under these conditions the tool will
r
not start, and it is necessary to recharge or replace the battery.
si
Batteries are supplied with a charge ≤ 30%. To maximise energy level, it is necessary to
si
fully recharge them before use. Charge the battery by following the instructions provided
in the battery charger manual, approximately 120 minutes are required to charge a
fully depleted battery with ASC145 fast charger. Only use the battery charger supplied with the
pump.
