Never operate the iCHLOR without proper flow or water circulation. A build-up of flammable gases will result in hazardous conditions. iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator is for use with permanently installed pool and may also be used with hot tubs and spas if so marked.

Página 6 Plumbing Diagram Plumbing the iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator: • Always install the iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator AFTER the filter and heater. The iCHLOR should be no closer than 1m away from the heater outlet. • If the iCHLOR is installed on a pool/spa combination system, install (see diagram below) the iCHLOR BEFORE the pool/ spa return valve to allow proper chlorination of both the pool and spa and also to avoid creating gas traps in the pipes.
Página 7 GREEN FLASHING: The iCHLOR needs to be inspected. The blades may be calcified. The iCHLOR will not be producing chlorine. GREEN: iCHLOR is performing good and producing chlorine NO LIGHT: The iCHLOR is off and not producing chlorine. It may be in an off cycle of the sanitizing process and will return on in due course.
Página 8 3, 4, or 5 hours, whichever is the optimal for your particular pool conditions in order to minimize scale buildup but maximize the life of the iCHLOR. It is factory set to two (2) hours for the first 30 days of operation, then automatically switches to three (3) hours.
Página 9 TDS must be made aware salt has been added to the iCHLOR system. The individual performing the TDS test may then subtract the salinity level to arrive at a TDS level that would be compatible to a TDS reading for a non-salt water pool.
Página 10 What Type of Salt to Use The purer the salt, the better the life and performance of the iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator. Use salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl, sodium chloride. The preferred and recommended salt is an evaporated, granulated, food quality, non-iodized salt with no additives.
Página 11 Therefore, the pool owner must always test salt levels before adding salt. A hand held meter calibrated for NaCl (salt) can be used to determine the salt levels of the pool water. After the iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator is powered on, the LED salt level lights will blink from bottom to top for two (2) minutes while it analyzes the pool water, then the LED indicators will show one (1) of four (4) salt level ranges.

Página 14 Use of an external Pool Pump Timer is not required The iCHLOR is designed to supply a sufficient amount of chlorine to sanitize pool water on a daily basis. If the pool pump is continuously running and the iCHLOR is operated 24 hours a day at 100%, more chlorine would be generated than would be needed by most pools (2-4 ppm, per APSP recommendations).

Super Chlorination is recommended before pool start-up. Start out with clean, properly chlorinated, pool water from the beginning. The iCHLOR will build up a sufficient level of chlorine for sanitation in several hours. However, if the pool water has a high demand from the start-up the iCHLOR will not be able to produce enough chlorine to reach break-point chlorination.

2. Pool Water Sample: Take a sample of the pool water to your local pool store for testing. 3. Cyanuric Acid: Sample the pool water and test for cyanuric acid level using a reliable test method. When using the iCHLOR Salt Chlorinator the recommended ideal cyanuric acid level is 30-50 ppm.
Página 17 The acid should only be contained inside the iCHLOR covering the blades. Try not to spill the acid on the outside of the iCHLOR. If acid does spill on the outside of the iCHLOR, wash it off with water. A foaming action will begin, which is caused by scale (calcium carbonate) being dissolved from the blades.

Der iCHLOR muss mindestens in einem (1) Meter entfernen vom Heizungsanschluss montiert werden. • Wenn der iCHLOR in einem Pool-/Whirlpool-Kombinationssystem installiert ist, muss der iCHLOR VOR dem Rückschlagventil von Pool/Whirlpool montiert werden (siehe nachstehendes Diagramm), damit Pool und Whirlpool ausreichend gechlort werden und sich keine Gasfallen in den Leitungen bilden.
Página 27 Der iCHLOR-Salzgehalt kontrolliert das Poolwasser täglich und zeigt die drei Stufen wie folgt an: GRÜNE LED: Gutes Salz. Der Salzgehalt im Poolwasser beträgt zwischen 2800 ppm und 4500 ppm und der iCHLOR erzeugt Chlor. Für optimale Ergebnisse sollte die iCHLOR-Salz-LED immer GRÜN sein. Der ideale Salzgehalt sind 3400 ppm.

Página 29 Chlors wird innerhalb zwei Stunden durch UV-Einstrahlung zerstört. Cyanursäure stabilisiert das Chlor im Wasser und schützt es vor der Zersetzung durch UV-Strahlen. Bei Einsatz des iCHLOR sollte der Gehalt an Cyanursäure zwischen 30-50 ppm liegen. Siehe Tabelle 2.

Poolwasser. Der iCHLOR erzeugt innerhalb von Stunden eine ausreichende Menge Chlor. Wenn der Chlorbedarf jedoch von Beginn an hoch war, kann der iCHLOR nicht genügend Chlor für die optimale Chlorierung erzeugen. Deshalb sollte die Superchlorierung während der Inbetriebsetzung des Pools an einer externen Quelle verwendet werden. Sobald der Chlorgehalt 2,0 bis 4,0 ppm erreicht hat, schalten Sie den iCHLOR an.
Página 36: Wartung Durch Den Benutzer
5. Metall-Test: Es wird empfohlen eine Probe des Poolwassers regelmäßig auf Metall zu untersuchen, z. B. Kupfer, Eisen, and Mangan. Diese Metalle können die iCHLOR-Salzelektrolysezelle und das Poolzubehör beschädigen - Sie dürfen niemals in Poolwasser vorhanden sein. Sollte Metalle vorhanden sein, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Poolfachmann.

Nehmen Sie den iCHLOR aus dem Eimer und legen Sie ihn in einen leeren 20-Liter-Eimer. Spülen Sie die Innen- und Außenseite des iCHLOR sorgfältig mit Leitungswasser ab und inspizieren Sie ihn.

De iCHLOR levert een voldoende hoeveelheid chloor af om het zwembadwater dagelijks te desinfecteren. Als de zwembadpomp continu draait en de iCHLOR 24 uur per dag op volle capaciteit werkt, zal meer chloor worden aangemaakt dan nodig is voor de meeste zwembaden (2-4 ppm volgens de aanbevelingen van de APSP). De iCHLOR heeft zijn eigen interne controller die de elektrolytische cel in- en uitschakelt, rekening houdend met de instelling van het ontsmettingsmiddelrendement.

Daarom is het raadzaam om bij de ingebruikneming van het zwembad te superchloreren met een externe bron. Wacht vervolgens om de iCHLOR in te schakelen tot het chloorpeil opnieuw tot 2,0 tot 4,0 ppm gedaald is.
