CONFIGURATIONS
EASEL-LEG TRIPOD
(with Directional Pulley)
The Easel-Leg Tripod shown is a Directional Frame as the rope
supporting the load is directed through a pulley on the head
and is not anchored to the frame.
The use of hobbles alone is not enough to secure the frame in
this configuration as the frame will tend to move back when
the load is applied. This example shows all feet bolted to the
floor.
