MAINTENANCE
The burner does not require any particular maintenance, it is
recommended at least to carry out the following operations at the
end of the heating season:
•
Check that the gas filter is clean,
•
that the ionization electrode is efficient,
•
check that the ignition electrode spark occurs only between the
electrode itself and the perforated sheet disk.
•
the combustion head may need cleaning.
during combustion head re-assembly, check the exact
centring of the electrodes (ignition and flame detection) in
order to avoid them going to earth, which would result in the
"lock-out" of the burner.

BURNER USE
The burner operates fully automatically, so it is not necessary to
carry out any kind of adjustment during its operation. The lock-out
condition is a safety position that the burner reaches automatically
when any burner part or system part is not working correctly. It is
then necessary to ascertain, before resetting it, whether the cause
is something that represents a hazardous situation.
The causes of the lock-out may be temporary ( for example when
there is air inside the pipes). Therefore, when it is reset, the burner
starts operating properly. On the other hand, if the unit keeps
locking out (3-4 times in a row), do not insist but seek the cause and
solve the problem or ask for the assistance of a technician of the
Assistance Centre. The burner can remain in the lock-out position
indefinitely. In emergency cases it is advisable to close the fuel valve
and disconnect power supply.
