H. MONITORING OF THE CYLINDER PRESSURE
This last generation of insufflators is equipped with a system for measuring the cylinder pressure displayed in continuous.
Moreover, when the cylinder pressure reaches 40 bars a updated cylinder icon is displayed,
As soon as the cylinder pressure reaches 20 bars, the insufflator informs the user via:
• A message on the display in the Alarm area "End of bottle" and a sound alarm.
• A yellow light displayed
From, 10 bars insufflator is not allowed to re-start
When AUTONOMY function is ordered, cylinder pressure messages in the Alarm area are replaced by AUTONOMY messages.
Use only with medical grade C02 for coelioscopy complying with European standards.
I. MONITORING OF THE CENTRAL CO2 GAS WALL PRESSURE (NOT AVAILABLE ON ALL MODELS)
This last generation of insufflators is equipped with a system for measuring the central gas wall CO2 pressure displayed in continuous.
As soon as the central gas wall CO2 pressure reaches 2 bars, the insufflators inform the user via :
• A message on the display in the warning area "input pressure".
• A yellow light displayed.
From, 2 bars insufflator is not allowed to re-start.
From, 10 bars insufflators will automatically switch in "bottle" mode for safety reasons.
Use only with central GAS WALL CO2 supply complying with European standards.
j. LCD DISPLAY
In order to communicate better with the user and to improve the ease of use, we have provided our latest generation of insufflators with a 5.7-inch LCD display.
This allows the following to be displayed in 5 different languages:
• warnings and error messages
• interactive menu allowing the device to be customized
• indication of empty cylinder
• indication of pressure set in mm Hg
• indication of intracavitary pressure in mm Hg
• indication of flow in l/min
• indication of volume of CO
used in liters
2
• indication of status: in start/stop and "high flow"/"low flow"
• CO2 bottle on central wall supply icon
K. CENTRAL CO2 GAS WALL SUPPLY AND CO2 BOTTLE CAPABILITY ON THE SAME DEVICE (NOT AVAILABLE ON ALL MODELS)
This device is able to be connected to CO2 network from 3.5 to 5 bars as well as CO2 bottles. Inside the MENU simply select "WALL" or "BOTTLE" inside "CO2
SOURCE" and it will be memorised
If a CO2 bottle is connected when "WALL CO2 source" is activated the device will automatically switch in "BOTTLE" mode for safety reasons. (Bottle Pressure > 10 bars)
L. PURGE FUNCTION
When a CO2 bottle is connected there is the possibility across the MENU to purge the high pressure hose before disconnecting it from the bottle.
M. OBSTRUCTED TUBING MESSAGES
A message ears in the Alarm area when the S640 detects an obstructed tubing.
N. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MESSAGES
When the device is powered on and during few seconds a message: "2000 surgeries before maintenance" is displayed, this number will decrease time after time
