becentered left t oright w ithin t he cutout.
Also, make c ertain that t he front
and rear c utouts are straight and parallel to
the front edge o fcountertop
and the rear
back,splash
and/or wall. Assure that t he
side cutouts are square tothe front and rear
cutouts.

Notes
Dimension "SB" is the minimum distance from the leading edge of the counter to the lea-
ding edge of the cutout.
Dimension "BT" is the thickness of back,splashthat provides 1/4" clearance between vent
and back,splash. Any back,splash with a curved radius where it meets the counter will requi-
re additional clearance. Thicker back,splashes may be used by increasing the counter and
cabinet depths.
Set the cook,top into the countertop opening so that the back edge of the cook,top overlaps
the leading edge of the downdraft.
