Topping up with water

When there is no more water left in the boiler, the heating is
automatically switched off and the display (17) lights up.
→ Top up with water !

Before topping up with
water while the appliance is
still warm, always proceed
as follows:
Set the switch (12) to the
position "iron".
Squeeze the button (15) on
the handle of the steam
hose and let the remaining
steam escape completely
until the pressure gauge is
at "0".
Set the switch (12) to positi-
on "0", disconnect
mains plug and leave the
appliance to cool down.
Carefully open the
safety cap (1) and
allow any possibly remai-
ning residual steam to esca-
pe before unscrewing com-
pletely.
Top up carefully with water,
starting off with small quan-
tities (in case new steam is
formed straight away!) until
max. 2 l water have been fil-
led into the boiler (also see
page 8).
Screw the safety cap (1)
back on again
connect up to the mains and
switch the appliance on
(also see page 9).

screw the tank cap back on
