When
steam
ning, it is necessary
for the ironing sole
plate to reach a certain
temperature. The mini-
mum temperature is indi-
cated by the steam sym-
bol (between WOOL and
COTTON) on the tempera-
ture control (D).
As long as the control lamp
(G) is on, the iron is still
heating up.
Wait for the control lamp (G)
on the iron to go off.
Hold the iron over a cloth or
corresponding vessel and
press the steam button (A)
on the iron until the system
has heated up and no more

out but only steam. The
system is now ready for
use.
You can use the iron without
steam, or with steam after
pressing the steam button
(A) on the iron.
For a constant flow of
steam, lock the steam but-
ton (A) by pressing the con-
tinuous steam button (B)
and pulling it toward the
cork handle. To release,
press button (B) again and
push it forwards.
The required steam quantity
is adjusted with the control
(16) on the steam cleaner
(see page 10).
Connect the steam hose to
the steam cleaner with
connector (E) (3 - 5).
Place the iron on the ironing
board using the special
base (F).
Connect the steam cleaner
to the power supply.
Turn switch (12) to the
middle position "ironing".
Wait until the standby con-
trol lamp (14) lights up.
Try out the required steam
pressure and steam quanti-
ty in order to gather experi-
ence.
When
steam
pressing
dresses, it is advisable to
hang these on a coat han-
ger.
