• A fllse in your home may he blown or the circuit breaker tripped.
• The o_en controls are not properly set.
• The oven controls are set _br cleaning. If necessa U, allo_ the oven to cool;
then ()pen the doo_:
• The light hu]b is deDctNe. Replace the bulb.
• The oven is sel_:-cleaning or the Sabbath t_,ature is set. The o_en lights do
not come on during selgcleaning or if the S;Jbbath option is set.
• The pad operating the light is broken. Call fi>rservice.
• The men contro]s are improperly set. See the Baking o_ I'oa,_titdsection.
• Oven not preheated f_l_a long enough time (use approximately 10 to 15
mintltes).
• Incorrect cook_are or cookware of improper size being used. See tile Pa_
p/aa, ne_zt s ection.
• Racks in the wrong position. See the 13_hi_Jg o_Roc_6ti_Jgsection.
• Ise a lbil tent to slow down browning during masting.
• Oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust theoven thermastat
section.
• This model is designed R)r closed door broiling onl). (:lose the doon

• The probe is plugged into the outlet in the oven. Remove the probe fi'om

• Improper rack position being used.
• Food is being cooked in a hot pan. Use the broiling pan and grid that came

• Cookwate is not suited fbr broiling. Use the broiling pan and grid that came
with )our ow_n.
• Ahmfinum flfil used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitmd
properly and slit _t_recommended.
• In some areas the power (w}ltage) ma} be lm_. Preheat the broil element tbr
approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
OVEN WILL NOT • The o_en temperature is too high to set a self-clean operation.
SELF CLEAN Allow the ow=nto cool below the locking temperature and reset the

"CRACKING" OR • This is normal. This is the sound of the metal heating and cooling
"POPPING" SOUND during both the cooking and cleaning flmctions.
DURING CLEANING
EXCESSIVE SMOKING • Excessiw_soil. Touch the CLEAR/OFF pad. Open the windows to rid the
OCCURS DURING room ot smoke. Wait until OVEN LOCKED goes off. Wipe up the excess
CLEANING soil and reset the clean cycle.
