The thermostat sensor (5) must always be mounted to
the heating (room side) from the front. The thermostat
sensor (5) and capillary pipe (6) may never be against the heat
exchanger or on the heating cover and may never be bent!
For left installation only
Carefully take the thermostat sensor (5) off the clips and place
on the opposite side (mirror image) until it clicks in.

Place the heating in the floor cut-out.
–
Click the thermostat sensor (5) with the heat screen onto
the screws.

Attach the device via 5 screws (3) 5.5 x 25 to the pre-pun-
ched points in the corners and in the front centre. Reinforce
the floor construction at the screw points, such as with
spacers.

Remove the control rod (7) from the support (60), push
through the bush of the support and click into position in
the safety pilot valve (8).

S 3004 / 5004 – auto ignitor installation /
disassembly
–
Pull the auto ignitor (9) out of the retainer to mount the
exhaust duct.
–
Before installation of the auto ignitor, check the correct fit of
the plug connections (11 + 12).
–
Insert the auto ignitor into the straps (10) as far as they go.
Exhaust cowl
S 3004 / S 3004 P only
Cut out an opening of Ø 60 mm in a middle clearance of min.
55 mm to side walls.
S 5004 only
Cut out an opening of Ø 70 mm in a middle clearance of min.
60 mm to side walls.
On double case roofs, fill the cavity with a suitable heat-resist-
ant material (30) to make the roof rigid enough so that it does
not become misshapen when tightening the screw connec-
tion and remains watertight.
Push the cowl upwards through the roof, tighten the inside
screw ring (31) and secure the screwing with a screw (32).
