Before the power tool is shipped from the factory, it is
adjusted for 0° and left 45° bevel cutting angles.
The positioning and bevel cutting angle can be adjusted
by loosening the 6 mm lock nut and by changing the height
of the 6 mm bolt.
(Maximum bevel cutting angle is 45°).
The extension wings help keep longer workpieces stable
and in place during the cutting operation.
(1) Insert extension wing through first pair of holes on
outside of base.
(2) Find the second pair of holes underneath the base. Put
"U" bracket over hole nearest to the front edge of the
base.
(3) Insert extension wing through both the second pair of
holes and "U" bracket.
Make sure the extension wing passes completely
through the second pair of holes as shown in Fig. 16.
(4) Tighten 6 mm bolt on "U" bracket with screwdriver to
hold extension wing in place.
CAUTION:
When transporting or carrying the tool,
do not grasp the extension wing.
There is the danger of the extension wing
slipping out of the base. Grasp the
carrying handle (see Fig. 2) instead of the
extension wing.
