3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur in eine
Fachwerkstatt geben.
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder eine autorisierte Fach-
werkstatt ersetzt werden.
Den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-
geschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haf-
tung übernommen werden.
Für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch
verwenden, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Was-
ser.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur Entsorgung ei-
nem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Stereo-Disco-Mischpult mit drei Stereo-Eingangs-
kanälen ist für beliebige DJ-Anwendungen im profes-
sionellen oder privaten Bereich geeignet. Es kann
sowohl frei aufgestellt als auch in einen Tisch einge-
baut werden.

Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Tonquellen an die entsprechenden Eingangs-
buchsen anschließen:
- Geräte mit Line-Pegel (z. B Tuner, CD-Spieler,
Kassettenrecorder) an die Buchsen LINE/CD
(25) der Kanäle CH 2 und CH 3 bzw. - bei
Schalter (28) in Position LINE - an die Buch-
sen (27) des Kanals CH 1;
- Plattenspieler mit Magnetsystem an die Buch-
sen PHONO (26) der Kanäle CH 2 und CH 3
bzw. - bei Schalter (28) in Position PHONO -
an die Buchsen (27) des Kanals CH 1;
- ein DJ-Mono-Mikrofon an Buchse DJ MIC (2).
Only use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning, by no means
chemicals or water.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively,
bring it to a local recycling plant for disposal.
Important for U.K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter N or coloured black.
2. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

Applications
The stereo disco mixer with three stereo input chan-
nels is suitable for professional DJ applications or for
home use. It may be used as a free-standing unit or
may be installed into a table.

Setting Into Operation
1) Connect the sound sources to the corresponding
input jacks:
- units with line level (e. g. tuner, CD player, tape
recorder) to the jacks LINE/CD (25) of channels
CH 2 and CH 3 or - if the switch (28) is on posi-
tion LINE - to the jacks (27) of channel CH 1;
- turntables with magnet system to the jacks
PHONO (26) of channels CH 2 and CH 3 or -
if the switch (28) is on position PHONO - to the
jacks (27) of channel CH 1;
- a DJ mono microphone to the jack DJ MIC (2).
2) Set the input selector switches (3) for channels
CH 1-CH 3 to the corresponding position.

5) Für eventuelle Tonaufnahmen ein Aufnahmegerät
an die Ausgangsbuchsen REC (24) anschließen.
Der Aufnahmepegel ist unabhängig von der Stel-
lung des Summenreglers (16).
6) Für eine optimale Pultbeleuchtung kann an die
Buchse LAMP (12) eine Schwanenhalsleuchte
(12 V/5 W max.), z. B. MONACOR GNL-405, an-
geschlossen werden. Die Leuchte wird mit dem
Mischpult ein- und ausgeschaltet.
7) Den Netzstecker in die Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz)
stecken.
8) Vor dem Einschalten des Mischpultes sollten die
Ausgangsregler MASTER (16) und BOOTH (14)
auf Minimum gestellt werden, um starke Einschalt-
geräusche zu vermeiden. Dann das Mischpult mit
dem Ein- /Ausschalter (13) einschalten. Zur Anzei-
ge der Betriebsbereitschaft leuchtet die rote LED
über dem Schalter.
9) Die angeschlossenen Geräte einschalten.

Bedienung
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme alle Klangregler (5)
und GAIN-Regler (4) sowie den Crossfader (10) auf
Mittelposition stellen.
5.1 Mischen der angeschlossenen Tonquellen
1) Mit dem Summenregler MASTER (16) läßt sich
die Gesamtlautstärke der angeschlossenen Ton-
quellen einstellen. Zur Pegeleinstellung der ange-
schlossenen Geräte den Summenregler auf ca.

2) Mit den Fadern (8) die Pegel der Eingangskanäle
einstellen. Bei gedrückter Taste (1) zeigt die LED-
Anzeige (11) den Stereo-Ausgangspegel des Sum-

(24) if sound recordings are desired. The record-
ing level is independent of the setting of the
master control (16).
6) A gooseneck lamp, 12 V/5 W max., may be con-
nected to the LAMP jack (12) for an optimum
lighting of the mixer (e. g. MONACOR GNL-405).
The lamp is switched on and off via the mixer
power switch.
7) Plug the mains plug into the mains socket
(230 V~ / 50 Hz).
8) The output controls MASTER (16) and BOOTH
(14) should be set to minimum before switching
on the mixer so that strong inrush bump is avoid-
ed. Then switch on the mixer with the on/off
switch (13). The red LED above the switch lights
to indicate operation.
9) Switch on the connected units.

Operation
Set all tone controls (5) and GAIN controls (4) as well
as the crossfader (10) to center position.
5.1 Mixing of the connected sound sources
1) The total volume of the connected sound sources
can be adjusted with the master control (16). For
the level adjustment of the connected units set the
master control to approx.

2) Adjust the levels of the input channels with the
faders (8). If the button (1) is pressed, the LED
display (11) shows the stereo output level of the
master output (22). At 0 dB the mixer is at its maxi-
mum level. Overloads are indicated via lighting of
the red LEDs. The faders should be at approx.

ist. Bei wenig oder sehr weit aufgezogenen
Fadern müssen die Pegel durch Verstellen der
GAIN-Regler (4) entsprechend angepaßt werden.
Bei Musik mit pulsierenden Signalspitzen (z. B.
Discomusik) leuchten die LEDs BEAT (9) der
Kanäle CH 2 und CH 3 im Takt der Musik. Die
LEDs sind vor den Fadern (8) geschaltet.
3) Mit der Klangregelung (5) das Klangbild des jewei-
ligen Eingangskanals einstellen: Mit den drei Reg-
lern lassen sich die Tiefen (LOW), Höhen (HIGH )
und Mitten (MID) anheben (max. 12 dB) bzw. ab-
senken (max. 24 dB). Befinden sich die Regler in
Mittelstellung findet keine Frequenzgangbeein-
flussung statt.
4) Mit dem Balanceregler (15) die gewünschte Ba-
lance für den Stereo-Summenausgang MASTER
(22) einstellen.
5) Mit dem Crossfader (10) kann zwischen den Kanä-
len CH 2 und CH 3 übergeblendet werden. In Mit-
telstellung des Faders werden beide Kanäle gleich-
zeitig auf die Ausgänge gegeben.
5.2 Vorhören der Kanäle über den Kopfhörer
Über die Vorhörfunktion (PFL = Pre Fader Listening)
ist es möglich, jede einzelne, angeschlossene Ton-
quelle über einen Kopfhörer abzuhören, auch wenn
der dazugehörige Fader (8) auf Minimum steht. Die
Vorhörfunktion ermöglicht das optimale Einstellen
der GAIN-Regler bei der Pegelanpassung der ange-
schlossenen Geräte. Außerdem kann durch das
Abhören eines Eingangskanals der günstigste Zeit-
punkt zum Einblenden der entsprechenden Ton-

quelle gewählt werden.
Es ist ebenfalls möglich, die Stereo-Summensi-
gnale über den Kopfhörer abzuhören. Dabei ist der
Pegel der Stereo-Summe unabhängig von der Stel-
lung des Summenreglers MASTER (16).

3) Adjust the sound reproduction of the correspond-
ing input channel with the equalizers (5): The low,
high and medium frequencies can either be in-
creased (12 dB max.) or decreased (24 dB max.)
by adjusting the three controls. The frequency
response is not affected if the controls are in cen-
ter position.
4) Adjust the desired balance for the stereo master
output (22) with the balance control (15).
5) Fading between the channels CH 2 and CH 3 is
possible via the crossfader (10). If the fader is in
center position, both channels are fed to the out-
puts simultaneously.
5.2 Monitoring of the channels via head-
phones
Each connected sound source can be monitored
separately with headphones via the PFL (pre-fader
listening) function, even if the corresponding fader
(8) is at minimum. With the PFL function the optimum
setting of the GAIN controls during the level adjust-
ment of the connected units is achieved. Further-
more, the best timing for fading in the corresponding
sound source can be chosen via monitoring of an
input channel.
It is also possible to monitor the stereo master sig-
nals via headphones. The level of the stereo master is
independent of the setting of the master control (16).
1) Connect headphones (impedance ≥ 8 Ω) to the
PHONES jack (19).
2) Press the corresponding PFL button (7) for moni-
