1.1 Frontseite (Abb. 1, 2 oder 3)
1 Umschalttaste für die LED-Pegelanzeige (11)
Taste nicht gedrückt (CH2/CH3):
Die obere LED-Kette zeigt den Vorhörpegel des
Kanals CH 2 an, die untere LED-Kette den Vor-
hörpegel des Kanals CH 3.
Taste gedrückt (MASTER):
Die LED-Ketten zeigen den Stereo-Ausgangs-
pegel des Summenausgangs MASTER (22) an.
2 asymmetrische XLR-Eingangsbuchse DJ MIC für
den Anschluß eines DJ-Mono-Mikrofons an den
Kanal CH 1
3 Eingangsumschalter für die Kanäle CH 1-CH 3
- Kanal CH 1:
umschaltbar zwischen Mono-Mikrofon (MIC)
und - je nach Stellung des Schalters (28) -
Stereo-Phono oder Stereo-Line (PH./LINE)
- Kanäle CH 2 und CH 3:
umschaltbar zwischen Stereo-Phono (PHONO)

Bei gedrückter Taste werden die Pegel der Kanäle
CH 1 und CH 2 um 12 dB abgesenkt.

Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 Front panel (fig. 1, 2 or 3)
1 Selector button for the LED level display (11)
Button not pressed (CH2/CH3):
The upper row of LEDs shows the pre-fader level
of channel CH 2, the bottom row of LEDs shows
the pre-fader level of channel CH 3.
Button pressed (MASTER):
The LED rows show the stereo output level of the
master output (22).
2 Unbalanced XLR input jack DJ MIC for the con-
nection of a DJ mono microphone to channel CH 1
3 Input selector switches for channels CH 1-CH 3
- Channel CH 1:
switchable between mono microphone (MIC)
and - depending on the position of the switch
(28) - stereo phono or stereo line (PH./LINE)
- Channels CH 2 and CH 3:
switchable between stereo phono (PHONO)
and stereo line (LINE/CD)
4 GAIN controls for adjusting the input amplification
of channels CH 1-CH 3
5 3-way equalizers for the input channels; consist-
ing of bass, mid and treble controls
6 TALKOVER button for microphone announce-
ments: If the button is pressed, the levels of chan-
nels CH 1 and CH 2 are attenuated by 12 dB.
7 PFL buttons for monitoring the individual input
channels via headphones connected to the jack

The LEDs - wired at the input of the faders (8) -

Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-
nung (230 V~) versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie-
mals selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch unsach-
gemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt beim
Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie für den Betrieb auch unbedingt die fol-
genden Punkte:
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Räumen
geeignet.
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0-40 °C).
Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, und sofort den
Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlußleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,

connection of units with line level) or PHONO (for
the connection of turntables with magnet sys-
tem).

Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to the directive for electromag-
netic compatibility 89/336/EEC and the low voltage
directive 73/23/EEC.
This unit uses dangerous mains voltage (230 V~).
To prevent a shock hazard do not open the cabinet.
Leave servicing to authorized skilled personnel
only. Furthermore, any guarantee claim expires if
the unit has been opened.
For the operation also watch in any case the follow-
ing items:
The unit is only suitable for indoor use.
Protect the unit against humidity and heat (permis-
sible operating temperature range 0-40°C).
Do not take the unit into operation and immediately
take the mains plug out of the mains socket if:
1. damage at the unit or mains cable can be seen,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit must in any case be repaired by author-
ized skilled personnel.
A damaged mains cable must only be repaired by
the manufacturer or authorized skilled personnel.
Never pull the mains plug out of the mains socket
by means of the mains cable.
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is not connected properly, if it is oper-
ated in the wrong way or not repaired by author-
ized skilled personnel, no liability can be taken
over for possible damage.
