4.2.5 Lautsprecher
Einen Lautsprecher (Mindestimpedanz 4 Ω), der
A
alternativ zum Lautsprecher in der Säule betrieben
werden kann, an die Klemmen EXTERNAL SPEA-
CH
KER (19) anschließen. Zur Nutzung des Lautspre-
chers den Schalter (18) in die Position EXTERNAL
SPEAKER schalten.
4.2.6 Stromversorgung des Pultes
Das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst in die Netzbuchse
(29) stecken und dann den Netzstecker in eine
Steckdose (230 V~/ 50 Hz).
4.2.7 Stromversorgung des Funkmikrofons
Die Batteriefachkappe (31) abschrauben und eine
9-V-Batterie, mit den Plus- und Minusanschlüssen
wie im Batteriefach (32) aufgedruckt, einsetzen. Die
Kappe wieder festschrauben.
Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z. B. länger als
eine Woche) sollte die Batterie herausgenommen
werden. So bleibt das Mikrofon bei einem eventuel-
len Auslaufen der Batterie unbeschädigt.
5 Bedienung
1) Vor dem Einschalten den Regler MASTER (27)
ganz nach links auf Null drehen, um Einschalt-
geräusche zu vermeiden.
2) Wenn ein externer Lautsprecher angeschlossen
ist, mit dem Schalter (18) wählen, ob der interne
oder der externe Lautsprecher genutzt werden soll.
3) Das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (28) ein-
schalten. Als Betriebsanzeige leuchten die LED
PL (23) und der rote Ring am Schwanenhalsmi-
krofon (1).
4) Alle angeschlossenen Geräte einschalten.
5) Das Schwanenhalsmikrofon auf den Mund des
Sprechers ausrichten. Die Schwanenhalsleuchte
kann mit dem Schalter (4) unterhalb der Ablage-
fläche ein- und ausgeschaltet werden.

4.2.4 Another amplifier system
For connecting another amplifier system, connect it
to the output LINE OUT (24). For contact configura-
tion of the jack see chapter 6.
4.2.5 Speaker
Connect a speaker (minimum impedance 4 Ω),
which may be operated as an alternative to the
speaker in the column, to the terminals EXTERNAL
SPEAKER (19). To use the speaker, set the switch
(18) to position EXTERNAL SPEAKER.
4.2.6 Power supply of the lectern
First connect the supplied mains cable to the mains
jack (29) and then the mains plug to a socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).
4.2.7 Power supply of the wireless microphone
Unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (31)
and insert a 9 V battery with the positive and nega-
tive connections as imprinted in the battery compart-
ment (32). Retighten the cover.
If the wireless microphone is not used for a long-
er period of time (e. g. more than a week), the bat-
tery should be removed. Thus, the microphone will
not be damaged in case the battery should leak.
5 Operation
1) Prior to switching on, turn the control MASTER
(27) to the left stop to zero to prevent switching-
on noise.
2) If an external speaker is connected, select with
the switch (18) if the internal or the external
speaker is to be used.
3) Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (28).
The LED PL (23) and the red ring at the gooseneck
microphone (1) light up as operating indications.
4) Switch on all units connected.
5) Align the gooseneck microphone to the mouth of
the speaker. The gooseneck light may be switched
on and off with the switch (4) below the top.

6) Das Funkmikrofon, wenn es be nötigt wird, mit
dem Schiebeschalter (33) einschalten. Den
Schalter ganz nach oben schieben. In der Mittel-
stellung ist das Mikrofon stumm geschaltet, d. h.
der interne Sender ist eingeschaltet, aber es wird
kein Ton übertragen.
Die rote LED (34) leuchtet als Betriebs anzeige
auf. Leuchtet sie nicht oder nur schwach, ist die
Batterie verbraucht und muss ersetzt werden.
7) Den Regler MASTER (27) für die Gesamtlaut -
stärke zunächst etwa zur Hälfte aufdrehen. Für
die verwendeten Eingänge mit den zugehörigen
Laut stärkereglern das gewünschte Lautstärke-
verhältnis einstellen. Der Regler MIC 1 (14) ist für
das Schwanenhalsmikrofon, der Regler WIRE-
LESS (20) für das Funkmikrofon.
Die Laustärkeregler für die nicht verwendeten
Eingänge auf Null drehen.
8) Mit den Klangreglern TREBLE (12) für die Höhen
und BASS (13) für die Tiefen den optimalen
Klang einstellen.
9) Mit dem Regler MASTER (27) die gewünschte
Gesamtlautstärke einstellen. Tritt ein Rückkopp-
lungspfeifen über ein Mikrofon auf, den entspre-
chenden Regler zurückdrehen.
Nach dem Betrieb das Pult mit dem Schalter
POWER (28) ausschalten und bei Verwendung
eines Funkmikrofons nicht vergessen, auch dieses
auszuschalten, sonst ist bei dem nächsten Betrieb
dessen Batterie verbraucht.
Hinweise
1. Falls kein Signal vom Funkmikrofon empfangen
wird, die Batterie des Mikrofons überprüfen oder
den Abstand zwischen Tonsäule und Mikrofon
verringern. Die Reichweite beträgt ca. 30 m.
2. Ein schlechter Empfang kann eventuell verbes-
sert werden, durch:
a) Schwenken der Antenne (8)
b) Drehen des Pultes
c) Versetzen des Pultes
6) If the wireless microphone is required, switch it
on with the sliding switch (33). Set the switch fully
upwards. In mid-position the microphone is
muted, i. e. the internal transmitter is switched on
but no sound will be transmitted.
The red LED (34) lights up as an operating
indication. If it does not light up or if it lights up
only poorly, the battery is exhausted and has to
be replaced.
7) Turn up the control MASTER (27) for the total vol-
ume approx. half-way for the time being. For the
inputs used adjust the desired volume ratio with
the corresponding volume controls. The control
MIC 1 (14) is provided for the gooseneck micro-
phone, the control WIRELESS (20) for the wire-
less microphone.
Turn the volume controls of the inputs not
used to zero.
8) Adjust the optimum sound with the tone controls
TREBLE (12) for the high range and BASS (13)
for the bass range.
9) Adjust the desired total volume with the control
MASTER (27). If a howling noise (feedback) via a
microphone occurs, turn back the corresponding
control.
After the operation switch off the lectern with the
POWER switch (28) and when using a wireless
microphone remember to switch it off as well other-
wise its battery will be exhausted the next time the
microphone is used.
Notes
1. If no signal is received by the wireless micro-
phone, check the battery of the microphone or
reduce the distance between speaker column
and microphone. The range is approx. 30 m.
2. A poor reception may be improved by:
a) turning the antenna (8)
b) turning the lectern
c) displacing the lectern
