WARNING
Normally, the machine is supplied in the configuration as shown in fig.7e: tool holder
arm closed and arm opening control valve to the right (see fig. 7f), bead breaker arms
fully forward.
These configurations may move during transport and the air can be released from the
actuating pneumatic cylinders.
Before making the connection to the pneumatic network, check the configuration of the
arms and controls as described in fig. 7e.
After making the connection, in order not to damage the gaskets and cause violent
movements, follow the sequence described below before moving the bead breaker
arms:
hold down the arm release button (12.1, fig. 7g) and move the lever to the left (12.6,
fig. 7g).
N.B.: no movement is obtained with this operation, but the pressure in the cylinders is
restored; the operations can be carried out after this initial phase.
CAUTION: Each time the machine remains disconnected from the pneumatic line for
long periods, it is recommended to check the direct correspondence of the controls with
the relative arm, following the pressure restoration procedure, or at least carry out the
first control operation very slowly.
Check that the Lubricator unit B fig. 7 contains air lubricating oil; top up if necessary.
Use SAE20 oil.
The customer must provide an air cut-off valve upstream of the air treatment and regulator
device supplied with the machine B fig. 6.
