Via the values for "Top" (upper edge), "Bottom" (lower edge), "Left"
(left edge), and "Right" (right edge) a rectangular picture cutout
can be defined in the grid of 15 x 15 in which a motion is to be
detected. For a better adjustability the picture is shown in the se-
lected cutout in a more brightened-up way (only while this subme-
nu is called).
(10).
The sensitivity of this area for a detection can be adjusted via
the value "Sensitivity" between "0" (insensitive) and "15" (very sen-

ther to the right the "I" will be placed in the bar graph below.
A detected motion is displayed by the text insertion "Motion
Detected" after exiting the adjusting menu. For an external eva-

a video recorder, or similar items) a signal is in addition sent to the
output "M/D OUT" (18). The parameter "Output Type" defines the

With detected motion a positive pulse of +4...5 V is
sent to the output for a time of 2.5 s ±0.5 s.
If no signal is present, the output has a voltage of
+4...5 V. With detected motion a negative pulse of 0 V
is sent to the output for the time of 2.5 s ±0.5 s.
The connection serves as a switch with open collector
characteristic. With detected motion a maximum DC
current load of 16 V/100 mA is switched to ground.
