Multi-kettle
Important safety information
▪ These appliances can be used by children aged 8 or older as well
as persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been supervised
or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the
hazards involved. This appliance is not a toy. Children must not
clean or maintain the appliance unless they are older than 8 years
of age and supervised.
▪ Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of children under 8
years of age.
▪ Children shall not play with the appliance.
▪ Only operate the kettle with the appropriate base.
▪ If the appliance is overfilled or operated when the lid is not closed,
hot contents may splash out.
▪ Do not immerse the kettle or base in water.
▪ Do not spill water on the connector.
▪ If the appliance's connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer's central customer service department or a
similarly qualified person. Improper repairs may place the user at
serious risk.
▪ Take care to protect the base from liquid of any kind.
▪ Caution, risk of burns: Accessible heating element surfaces and the
tea strainer can become very hot. They also remain hot for some
time after the appliance has been switched off.
▪ After using the appliance and accessories, clean all surfaces/parts
that have come into contact with food. Please follow the instruc-
tions in the "Cleaning and care" section.
▪ Always use the appliance in accordance with these instructions.
Improper use may result in electric shock or other hazards.

▪ This appliance is designed for use in households and similar envi-
ronments, such as:
⋅ staff kitchens
⋅ shops, offices and other commercial environments;
⋅ agricultural premises;
⋅ by guests at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
⋅ B&B establishments.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.

maintenance of the appliance.
It should be kept in a safe place and passed on to any subsequent users.
The appliance may be used only for the intended purpose in accordance with these instructions for
use.
The safety precautions must be observed during use.

Safety precautions
▪ The appliance should be connected only to earthed wall sockets that have been installed in accord-
ance with the regulations. The power cable and plug must be dry.
▪ Do not pull or clamp the connection cable over sharp edges. Do not leave it dangling. Protect it
from heat and oil.
▪ Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cable or with wet hands.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or pull the mains plug out of the socket immediately if:
⋅
the appliance or mains cable is damaged;
⋅
the appliance is leaking;
⋅
the appliance may be defective following a fall or similar incident, e.g. cracks or damage to
the glass insert.
In such cases, send the appliance in for repair.
▪ Do not place the kettle on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or the like, or near an open flame. It
could be damaged beyond repair.
▪ Do not place the appliance on water-sensitive surfaces. Splashes of water may damage such
surfaces.
▪ Do not operate the appliance under delicate furniture which could be damaged by steam from
boiling.
▪ The grip on the tea strainer is not a carrying handle. It is used for moving the tea strainer upwards
and downwards.
▪ Do not use any metal implements in the glass insert to avoid damaging the glass.
▪ Never operate the kettle unattended.
▪ Do not switch the appliance on without water.
▪ Do not operate the appliance without the lid.
