Printout unreadable

Possible cause
• Ribbon worn or entangled
• Service life of printing unit
at an end
• No power
• Power supply fault
• RS232C connection
is disconnected / not
attached
• The interface parameters
do not match the balance
• Data transfer has not
completed in the last 45 s
• Balance in overload range • Check the weight of sample
• Balance in underload
range. Weighing pan is
not in position
• Balance does not under-
stand printer instruction
• Balance can not execute
printer instruction
• Printer error messages
Correction
• Change ribbon cartridge or tense
the ribbon properly
