– You can test the limit value function by
lifting the bed so that the measured val-
ue fails to reach the set threshold. The
alarm sounds. If you release the bed
again, the alarm goes silent.
– In order to switch off the limit value
function, press the FUNC key again.
The arrow indicator for limit value func-
tion goes out.
Important note:
if the scale has been switched off, the limit value function must be reactivated as
described above.
Weighing with pre-Tare
If the pre-Tare function is activated, a stored weight value is deducted from the currently
measured weight. This function is useful, for example, if the weight of a bed is known and
is not to be displayed. As a result, the patient can remain in bed throughout the entire
weighing process.
Tip:
Make a note of their tare weight on the beds used for weighing - on an adhesive label, for
example.
– Prepare for measurement as described
in the Section entitled "Preparation for
measurement" on page 23, but do not
yet push the measuring feet under the
bed castors.
– Press the START key with no load on
the scale.
