Read these instructions in conjunc
tion with the user's instructions for
all component parts of the OptimAir
system and do not confuse with
similar devices.
l
At very high work rates and with
adverse wind conditions the pressure
inside the respiratory inlet covering
may become negative or an increase
in inward leakage could occur, indi
cations include fogging of visor,
increase in breathing resistance and
heat build up inside the respiratory
inlet covering. Beards, scars and
spectacles may adversely affect the
seal of respiratory inlet coverings to
the face.
l
Leave the work zone immediately if
anything untoward occurs, for example:
•Damage to any part of the system
accidental impact.
•Airflow becomes reduced.
•Trapping, pinching, snagging or
crushing of the hose.
•Alarm sounds/red flashing LED low
battery or low flow warning!
•Taste or smell of contaminants
becomes apparent or other irritation
occurs.
l
Never make system adjustments in
the work zone. Always go to a safe
area before removing respiratory inlet
covering or switching off device.
l
Use in the power off state is abnor
