When using this media, follow the guidelines below and consult your printer manual for more
information.
ColorLife
Photo Paper is intended for use with dye-based inks and is not compatible with pigment-
based inks.
Caution:
c
This media is manufactured for use with EPSON ink jet printers only. Using this paper with other
printers or copiers may cause hardware damage.
When handling
Be careful not to get water or other liquids on the printable (coated) side of the paper. Water
has a significant effect on print quality.
Be careful not to touch the printable side of the paper. Moisture and oils from your skin can
affect print quality.
Be careful not to scratch the print surface when handling the paper. Also do not roll or fold the
paper.
You should only use this print media at normal room temperature and humidity: 15-25°C (59-
77°F) at 40-60% relative humidity.
When printing
Always load the printable (glossier) side of the paper face up.
Load one sheet at a time. If you are printing on more than one sheet, be sure to remove each
sheet from the output tray before printing the next sheet.
Note:
If the paper is curled, flatten it, then load the paper in the printer. Take care not to get moisture
or oils from your skin on the printed surface.
Do not stack sheets immediately after printing. Allow the sheets to dry completely to avoid
smearing.
Do not print on the back of the sheet. Because the back does not absorb ink, printing on it will
cause ink to get into the printer mechanism.
Do not roll or fold the paper. Doing so could damage the print surface.
Occasionally ink that has gotten into the printer mechanism may adhere to the printout if you
are printing images with high color saturation. Extra ink adhering to the paper will not be
noticeable if Photo-realistic is selected on the Advanced menu in your printer driver. See your
printer documentation for detailed instructions on selecting this setting.
