Handling printouts
Do not touch the printed surface or stack printouts until the ink has dried completely. When
ink is not allowed to dry, the printed surface may scratch, the paper's coating may peel, or ink
may smear onto other sheets.
Note:
Let printouts dry for 24 hours under conditions of normal temperature and humidity before stacking
or storing them.
If you have let your printouts dry for at least 60 minutes and the ink no longer smears, you can
insert absorbent plain paper between each sheet and stack them.
Printouts may curl significantly under conditions of very low humidity (less than 40% RH).
The printout will smear and the coating on the printed surface will be damaged if moisture gets
on the paper after printing.
Note:
Use an absorbent cloth or paper towel to immediately blot any liquid that gets onto the paper after printing.
Be careful to blot lightly, without applying pressure. This will help to minimize smearing of the printout
and damage to the paper's coating.
Storing printouts
To store your printouts, allow them to dry completely, then insert absorbent plain paper between
each printout. Place them in a folder or box and store them in a dark location, away from high
temperatures and humidity or direct sunlight.
Displaying printouts
Display your printouts indoors after letting them dry for 24 hours or longer.
Note:
EPSON recommends that you mount your printout under glass or similar protective covering.
To avoid discoloration, fading, or other damage to your printout, do not display:
• Outdoors
• In direct sunlight
• In conditions of high temperature or humidity
• In a location where the printout will be exposed to water or condensation.
Storing unused paper
Return unused sheets to the original package and store in a dark location, away from extreme
temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
Avoid storing the paper in locations where there is condensation or where it will be exposed to
moisture of any kind. Once the surface gets wet, the paper may not perform according to the
original specifications, even after it dries.
