Printer driver settings
Follow these steps if your printer driver includes a ColorLife Photo Paper Media Type setting.
1. Open the File menu and select Print.
Note:
In Windows, click the Properties button, then click the Main tab, if necessary.
2. Select ColorLife Photo Paper as the Media Type setting.
3. Click OK or Print to print your photo.
If your printer driver does not include a ColorLife Photo Paper Media Type setting, check the
EPSON web site at http://www.epson.com for an updated driver. If there is no updated driver for
your printer, follow these steps:
1. Open the File menu and select Print.
Note:
In Windows, click the Properties button, then click the Main tab, if necessary.
2. Select Photo Quality Glossy Film as the Media Type setting.
3. Click the Custom button, then click the Advanced button.
4. Select the following settings to print a color photo:
Select Photo – 1440 dpi or Photo – 2880 dpi as the Print Quality setting.
Select Photo-realistic as the Color Mode setting.
Move the color slider to these settings:
Cyan and Yellow = -7
Magenta = -12
To print a black and white photo, select these settings:
Select Black as the Ink setting. (Do not print black and white photos using color ink
unless you have the ColorLife Photo Paper Media Type setting)
Select Photo – 1440 dpi as the Print Quality setting.
5. Now click the Save Settings button to save these selections. Name this setting so you can easily
identify it later, such as ColorLife-color or ColorLife-black.
6. Click OK to close the Advanced window.
Note:
Make sure the Printable Area setting is set to Standard.
This paper is not compatible with the No Margins setting.
7. Click OK or Print to print your photo.
Note:
If you need to reduce red tones in your color printout, repeat these printing steps, but adjust the
Magenta slider left to a setting between -13 and -17.
Before printing with a paper other than ColorLife Photo Paper, be sure to select Automatic as the
mode setting.
