4. Initial use

4.1 Inserting the batteries

In order to use the cosmetics mirror, you first need to insert the supplied
batteries. To insert the batteries, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the battery compartment lid on the rear of the device.
2. Insert the three supplied 1.5V AA (alkaline type LR6) batteries. Make
sure that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity, according to
the label. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment lid carefully.
4.2 Installation
You can attach the FCE 79 cosmetics mirror either to a smooth surface
(e.g. glass or tiles) using the suction caps, or to a wall using the screws.
Option 1: Installation on smooth surfaces using suction caps
WARNING
If you are using the suction caps to install the cosmetics mirror, make
sure that there are no objects below it that can be easily broken or
scratched. The suction of the caps may decrease over time.
1. Attach the three sup-
plied suction caps to
the cosmetics mirror
as shown. Moisten
the suction caps with
a little water.
2. Attach the cos-
metics mirror to a
smooth surface that
is clean and free of
grease.

3. Push the locking
