Approvals

The facepieces in combination with self-contained breathing
apparatus, air line breathing apparatus, or canister have been
certified by NIOSH in compliance with title 42, Code of Federal
Regulations, Part 84. Only combinations that are approved by NIOSH
may be used (see "Approval Label" on Page 181 for masks with Rd40
connector for use with filters and canisters. Labels for SCBA sets can
be found in the Instructions for Use of the SCBA sets).
Furthermore, the facepieces are approved according to
EN 136:1998 CL.3+
In addition, they meet the flame engulfment requirements stipulated in
EN 137.
The Dräger FPS 7000 RA facepieces are also approved in Australia
and New Zealand according to AS/NZS 1716:2012.
