representative in the Community, declare that the chain saw for forest service model
McCulloch M4620 P---600 with serial numbers dating from 2009 and onwards (the year is
clearly stated on the rating plate, followed by the serial number), comply with the requirements
of the COUNCIL'S DIRECTIVES:
of 17 May 2006 "relating to machinery" 2006/42/EC;
of 15 December 2004 "relating to electromagnetic compatibility" 2004/108/EC, and applicable
supplements; and
of 8 May 2000 "relating to the noise emissions in the environment" in accordance with Annex
V of 2000/14/EC. For information relating to noise emissions, see Technical data section.
The following standards have been applied: EN ISO 12100-1/A1:2009, EN ISO
12100-2/A1:2009, CISPR 12:2007, EN ISO 11681-1:2008.
Notified body, 0404, SMP, The Swedish Machinery Testing Institute, Fyrisborgsgatan 3
S- -754 50 Uppsala, Sweden, has carried out EC type examination in accordance with the
machinery directive's (2006/42/EC) article 12, point 3b. The certificates for EC type
examination in accordance with annex IX, have the numbers: 0404/09/2038.
The supplied chain saw conforms to the example that underwent EC type examination.

REMEDY
1. Move ignition switch to ON.

3. Fill tank with correct fuel mixture.
4. Install new spark plug.
5. Check for dirty fuel filter; replace.
Check for kinked or split fuel line;
repair or replace.
