Commissioning
P2
Danger due to uncontrollable acceleration
of the slide!
If the rodless cylinder is not pressurized uniformly on
both sides, the slide can accelerate uncontrollably and
break through an end stop with high kinetic energy.
This can cause serious injury or even death.
P2
O Ensure that the rodless cylinder is always
pressurized on both sides.
O Ensure that the pressure on both sides
of the rodless cylinder is balanced.
O Ensure that no persons are in the area of the end
stops.
P2
Danger due to loose objects in the travel range
of the slide!
Due to its movement energy, the slide can carry objects
away with it that are in the travel range or protrude
P2
into the travel range.
O Ensure that no loose components, tools, or
workpieces, which can be carried away by the slide,
are in the travel range of the slide.
P2
Danger due to slide movement!
Due to its kinetic energy, the slide can crush limbs and
cause other injuries.
O Ensure that persons do not reach into the
movement range of the rodless cylinder.

Carry out a trial run
After the system has been adjusted, a test run can
be carried out.
1.
First, carry out a test run without components and
without useful load.
2.
Adjust the intermediate stop as needed. In order to do
this, loosen the screws on the sliding block and then
tighten them again. Note the tightening torque under
(3)
"6 Assembly".
3.
Finally, carry out a test run with a useful load.
