Tip for use
EN
• Read these instructions for use completely and keep it safe for future
reference!
• For the towing process, the rules of the road traffic regulations must be
observed!
• Check whether your vehicle's manual says chains can be used.
• Use a fluorescent safety jacket while mounting the chains on your
vehicle.
• Make sure that your snow chains are compatible with the tyres mounted
on your vehicle.
• Check that you have mounted the snow chains on the drive wheels of
your vehicle.
• The road behaviour of your vehicle fitted with snow chains will be
EN
negatively affected, especially on dry surfaces. Drive very carefully on
roads that are either covered by snow or have been cleared of snow.
Anticipate when to apply brakes and when to accelerate.
• Before starting the car with snow chains installed, check that no element
comes in contact with the fixed parts on the car (shock absorber, brake
caliper, etc.)
• After driving for 100 metres check that the snow chains are properly
centred.
• Do not exceed the speed of 50 km/h when your vehicle is fitted with snow
chains.
• As far as possible, avoid skidding of the wheels and control your
accelerations and braking.
• If you notice significant wear and tear on a few Steel links of the chains
and if you deem the wear and tear to be greater than 50% with respect to
the thickness of a new link, stop using the snow chains and replace them
as soon as possible.
• Like all anti-skid devices, this product is subject to wear and tear. In case
of considerable wear and tear, the product may no longer be as resistant
and effective as it initially was.
• The inner ring and the outer elements of the Chain should never contact
the running surface during rolling because this will damage the Chain.
• Maintenance: Rinse the snow chains with clean water and dry them
before putting them away.
