7.10 CORRECT TIGHTENING AND SPECIFICATION OF THE BELT

Check the belt tension when the machine is new or when you have replaced it and the next five
hours' work of the plate. When operating the machine under normal conditions, verify and adjust if
necessary every 50 hours' operation or every week.
Tighten belt:
7.10.1.

7.10.4.
VIBRATING PLATES
Unscrew the three grub screws of the belt-cover. Remove the belt-cover.
Adjust the cams so that when pressed lightly in the centre, the belt will flex 10-15 mm.
Put the belt-cover back into place and tighten the three belt-cover screws.

ATTENTION: Check that the 2 tension plates remain in the same position to
ensure that the machine is well-balanced.
