8.11 NEUTRAL ADJUSTMENT OF BACK AND FORTH LEVER
If neutral position for forward and reverse travel has been displaced, conduct the following neutral
adjustment.
Start engine. Confirm the machine does not move forward or reverse when the back- and-forth lever is at the
neutral position.
If the machine moves either forward or reverse, continue the following adjustment. Make sure that the
adjustment work must be after the engine is stopped.
① Loosen the hexagonal nut of link ball which is fixed at the L shaped lever (CE).
If the machine moves forward:
Turn the hexagonal nut of cylinder shaft (∅13) for the spring cylinder assembly to the left-hand side.
(anticlockwise)
If the machine moves reverse:
Turn the same nut to the right-hand side (clockwise).
② Start engine. Confirm the machine does not move forward or reverse when the back-and forth lever
is returning from the maximum end to the neutral position.
③ If the machine still moves forward or reverse, continue the adjustment described at the above ①.
④ The maximum travel speed at the reverse is 2.5km/hour. Do not adjust the reverse
speed greater than the forward.
