where there is a risk of cutting or crushing
injuries!
• Driving characteristics, steering and braking
characteristics as well as tipping points are
affected by the loads and what tools are
installed or carried. For this reason only tools
that are approved by the manufacturer may be
used. Always adapt the work speed to the
prevailing conditions.
• Unauthorized modifications that can jeopardise
the operational safety of the machine are
prohibited!
• Check the operational safety of the machine
before each start!
• The protective devices must never be removed
or modified!
• Never go underneath a machine that has not
been locked when repairing or checking!
2.2.2 Work and risk areas
• Within the work area the user is responsible for
ensuring that those nearby are not injured!
• It is prohibited to enter the machine's risk area!
• Check the immediate surroundings before
starting and driving with the deck installed. In
particular, watch out for children and animals.
Make sure that you have a good view!
• Any objects must be removed from the area to
be worked on before starting work. Watch out
for other objects during the work and remove
them in time.
• When working in enclosed areas keep a safe
distance from the fence so that the tool is not
damaged.
• When working in the immediate vicinity of
public if possible drive along the edge of the
road not towards the road. This minimises the
risk of people being hurt by objects that may be
thrown out.
• When working on public roads and spaces or
areas adjacent to them information and warning
signs must be set out to alert the public to the
work.
2.2.3 Before the work
• Before starting work the user must be familiar
with all equipment and control devices and their
functions. Ensure that all the protective devices
are correctly installed are in the protective
position. During the work it is too late!
2.2.4 During the work
• Never leave the driver's position whilst driving!
• Do not leave the driver's position until all the
tools on the deck have stopped moving
completely!
• Do not make any adjustments to the deck during
operation - risk of accidents!
ENGELSKA
• It is prohibited to transport people or objects!
• If, for example, a foreign object has been swept
up and blocked the deck the engine must be
switched off and the mounted deck cleared
using a suitable tool! The engine must always
be shut off before opening or cleaning the deck!
Note the safety information for the self
propelled machine.
• If the self propelled machine or the mounted
deck is damaged the engine must be switched
off immediately and the damage rectified.
2.2.5 Leaving the machine
• When leaving the machine ensure that the
machine cannot roll away. Use chocks or apply
the parking brake.
• Protect the deck against unauthorised use!
• Never leave the deck unattended when it is in
operation.
2.2.6 Screw joints and tyres
• When working on the wheels ensure that the
machine is stable and cannot roll away!
• Regularly check that the nuts and screws are
tight and tighten them if necessary.
• Tyres may only be repaired by professionals
with the correct installation tools! If the tyres
have too high a pressure there is a risk of
explosion!
• Check the air pressure regularly.
2.2.7 Attaching and removing the deck
• The deck must only be attached and removed
when the engine and power take off are
switched off.
• When changing the deck and accompanying
accessories suitable tools and protective gloves
must be used.
• When attaching and removing ensure that the
deck is stable and that the necessary safety
devices are in place.
• The self propelled machine and deck must not
be able to roll away (parking brake, chocks).
• When attaching the deck there is a risk of injury
(crushing injury). Take extra care.
• Connect the deck according to the instructions
and attach at the stated points.
2.2.8 Maintenance, cleaning and repair
• The maintenance and cleaning work may only
be carried out when drive is switched off and
the engine is stationary!
• If protective devices and the tool are exposed to
wear these must be regularly checked and
replaced if necessary.
• Replace damaged cutting tools.
• When replacing cutting tools suitable tools and
protective gloves must be used.
