7. CLEANING
7.1. OF THE CAST IRON FRONT SECTION.
Preferably clean when the insert fireplace is
cold using a slightly damp cloth.
7.2. OF THE GLASS PANE.
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are quite
effective products.
Never try to clean the glass while the fireplace
is working.
Replacing. The glass pane in your insert fireplace is
made of thermal material, especially manufactured
for log and/or coal fireplaces. If it should break due
to an accident, it must be replaced by another glass
pane with the same technical specifications. Contact
our Distributor to provide you with the appropriate
glass pane, together with instructions to assemble
and seal it.
8. SAFETY
Warning
Gas, wood or pellet fireplaces heat up when lit. As a result it is necessary to be cautious and
keep a certain distance away, especially children, old people, people with special needs and
pets while the fire is on.
Make sure that children and anyone else not used to the workings of a fireplace, are
supervised by an older person when near.
To avoid burns and also to protect vulnerable people it is advisable to use a fireguard or
screen. The use of heat resistant gloves are recommended when in contact with the fireplace.

7.3. OF THE DEFLECTION PLATE.
1. A –Slide the deflection place forward and
upward until the side tabs on the deflector are
free (Fig.1)
B - Lower the deflector until it is free (Fig.2).
2. Clean both sides of the deflector plate once a
season using a hard (wire) brush. This will
facilitate the transmission of air through the
plate and avoid its deterioration to a great
extent.
3. Install the deflector plate once again based on
the instructions described in point 1.
7.4. JOINTS AND SEALS.
We recommend a visual inspection of the state
of joints (doors, glass...) and seals at the beginning
and half-way through a season to check whether
they need replacing or repairing.
