MOUNTING THE OPERATING TOOL
The precise and accurate performance of the below
described procedures guarantees the reliable and safe
operation with the power tool.
1. Ensure the battery is removed from the power tool.
2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring access to the
operating tool. We recommend fixing the machine
in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to
use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.
3. Mount the selected operating tool ensuring its co-
axial positioning.
4. Press frontally the selected operating tool to the pad
(1) to ensure maximum cohesion of the hook-and-
loop surfaces (Velcro type).
5. Turn the machine with the sandpaper facing down-
ward.
6. Insert the battery into the power tool.
7. Slide the ON/OFF switch (3) forward to start the ma-
chine.
8. Let the machine operate at no load for approximate-
ly one minute not allowing the sanding head (8) to
contact any surface.
9. At the event of increased vibrations or other symp-
toms not typical for operation, stop the machine im-
mediately and search for the reason. If you cannot
detect the reason yourself - contact the nearest au-
thorised SPARKY service centre. Operating with a
faulty machine may cause an accident!
10. If no trouble is detected then you can start opera-
tion.
REPLACING THE OPERATING TOOL

and mount the new tooth belt into the housing.
6. Mount the pad (1) together with the driven belt pulley
(20) and fix it by the four screws (11).
7. Slightly loosen the three screws (22) and unwind
screw (18), so that the sanding head (8) be able to
move back.
8. Mount the tooth belt (9) to the driven belt pulley (20)
by engaging the belt teeth to the belt pulley teeth.
9. Adjust the tensioning of the tooth belt by turning
screw (18); upon tightening the screw, the sanding
head (8) will move forward and the belt will stretch;
upon loosening the screw, the tooth belt will loos-

en. The proper tensioning is achieved when the
distance from the flange back side to the surface
supported by screw (18) is 5,3 mm. When you have
already tensioned the belt, fasten screws (22) until
the sanding head is fixed firmly.
10. Mount the cap (21) and fix it by both end screws (17).
11. Turn the machine with the flexible pad facing down-
ward
12. Insert the battery into the power tool.
13. Slide the ON/OFF switch (3) forward to start the ma-

AUXILIARY HANDLE
The machine is delivered with the auxiliary handle (7)
mounted. Prior to initial operation tighten the auxiliary
handle in the desired position by tightening bolts (16).
MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING THE
AUXILIARY HANDLE
1. Ensure the battery is removed from the power tool.
2. Mounting and dismounting the auxiliary handle
(7) is performed by screwing and unscrewing the
screws (16). Place washer (24) under screw (16).
Place washer (19) between the auxiliary handle
plate and the gearbox.
TURNING THE MACHINE CASE
The machine case can be turned to 90° or to 180°. Turn-
