1.
Partially unscrew the 2 hexagonal screws located on the
back support of the riving knife.
2.
Insert the riving knife between the plaques of the metal, in
order that the two hexagonal screws enter the two holes of
the riving knife. Do not tighten completely.
3.
Adjust the riving knife in order that there is a distance from
2 to 5 mm between the blade and the riving knife and
check also the alignment between the riving knife and the
blade through a ruler.
4.
Tighten the hexagonal screws. Then check again that the
blade is perfectly fixed and re-assemble the bench inlay.
5.
Then assemble the protective cap as illustrated in the
picture. Place it on the upper side of the riving knife in order
that the hole of the protective cap is perfectly aligned with the one of the riving knife. Insert the screw and
tighten the stop nut.
DANGER: THE PROTECTIVE CAP MUST BE ALWAYS USED FOR ALL CUTTING
OPERATIONS TO AVOID ANY RISK OF CONTACT WITH THE BLADE.
IT RISES AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE WORKPIECE PASSES THROUGH THE BLADE.
The rip fence extrusion can be assembled in two ways.
To assemble it, loosen the two support screws of the
fence, then make the extrusion slide and tighten the
screws.
To lock the rip fence, move the lock handle down. Be
always sure that the rip fence is perfectly blocked
before use.
To remove the rip fence, raise the handle.
You can fix the machine to the ground by using 4 cement anchors.
