You can use this handwheeol to raise and lower the blade. Loosen the
knob and turn the hadnwheel clockwise to lower the blade and anti-
clockwise to raise it, and then lock the knob.
You can use this handwheel to angle the blade (Fig. 21). Turn it clockwise
to angle the blade to the left. Turn it anti-clockwise bring back the blade at
90°. Be sure to have loosened the knob located at the level of blade's
height adjust knob before angling the blade and be sure to have blocked it
when you have chosen the position.

Al To adjust the pointing device, firstly take a
rectangular wood piece which is 100 mm wide and 300
mm long.
2.
Mark a parallel line on one side of the piece at a
distance of about 10 mm from the side.
3.
Position the goniometer at 0° and press the wood piece
against the goniometer.

Be sure that the wood piece is parallel to the blade by
using the goniometer, and move the piece until blade's
teeth get in contact with the line you have previously
marked.

Switch the pointing device on.

To adjust the laser beam loosen the two screws for the
adjustment of the laser. You can adjust the laser also
by loosening the screw indicated by the arrow on the
laser box (see below).
7.
Turn and move the pointing device from side to side
until the laser beam is aligned with the line you have
marked on the wood piece.
NOTICE:
You can adjust the laser beam on the cutting line or on
the center of the blade according to your necessities.
8.
Tighten the adjust screws of the laser.
9.
Check the adjustment and re-adjust it if necessary.
