CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
1.
Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
2.
Turn the machine upside-down on paperboard.
3.
Remove the bottom plate by unfastening the four screws.
4.
Unscrew the covers of the engine carbon brushes with a suitable screwdriver. One of the carbon brushes
is located on the opposite side of the engine.
5.
Remove the worn carbon brushes. Each carbon brush must not be less than 6 mm.
6.
Insert the new carbon brushes in their housing. The two tabs of the upper metal side of the carbon brush
must be placed in the guide of the housing.
7.
Screw the cover of the carbon brushes and check the functioning of the engine
REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERIES OF THE POINTING DEVICE
1.
Disconnect the machine from the power supply.
2.
Remove blade's protective cap by unscrewing the stop square
neck nut. You can also remove the protective cap from the
riving knife.
3.
Remove the screw of the box to get to the batteries as
illustrated in the picture on the side. Then open the box.
4.
You can then identify the two round batteries (type AG-13),
indicated by the arrows below. Remove them by pulling them
towards yourself, then replace them being careful to respect the
polarity. Then close the box, tighten the screws and check that
the laser works.
