7.4.2 Assembly instructions
Switch strips from different suppliers may have different features. In order to select a suitable
switch strip, the following characteristics of the switch strip must be observed:

Actuating path
•
Overrun path
•
Load resistance
•
Switching resistanc
"h" is the basic height of a switch strip when not actuated.
To allow the switch strip to trip, it must be deformed by the
actuation path "b". The switch strip is only ACTIVE after
that.
After the switch strip has been actuated, it can be deformed
using the overrun path "n". Deformations > Overrun path
"n" lead to permanent damage and malfunctions.
Damaged switch strips must be replaced. Please note that
not all switch strips have an overrun path.
The overrun path of the switch strip must be
greater than the stopping distance of the lifting
columns.
The actuating and overrun path of each application / unit
must be considered separately. To select the switch strip you
require, use Table on page 60.
