General Notes

Before using this appliance for the first time, please read
the operating instructions very carefully and keep these
safe along with the warranty certificate, receipt and if pos-
sible the box and inner packaging. If you give the appliance
to a third party, you should also provide them with the
operating instructions.

Special Safety Precautions for this Appliance

WARNING: Hot surfaces!
Risk of burns!
Accessible surfaces can be very hot during operation.
Therefore, only touch the appliance on the recessed grips and
the power plug.
CAUTION: Fire Hazard!
Oil and fat can burn when overheated. Maintain a sufficient safe
distance (30 cm) to inflammable objects, such as furniture, cur-
tains, etc.

• The appliance is for personal use only and must not be
used for other purposes. This device is not intended for
commercial use.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors. Keep it away from
heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never immerse it in
liquids) and sharp edges. Do not operate the appliance
with wet hands. If the appliance has become moist or
wet, pull the power plug immediately.
• Switch off the appliance and always pull on the plug
out of the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead),
whenever you are not using the appliance, attaching
accessories, cleaning it or if there is a fault.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use. If
you leave the room, turn the appliance off. Disconnect
the plug from the socket.
• The appliance and the power cable must be checked
regularly for signs of damage. If damage is detected,
the appliance must not be used.
• Use only original accessories.
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of
their reach.

Do not allow small children to play with foil. There is a
danger of suffocation!
