6.2 Starting the application

1. Dry your hair thoroughly before using the curl styler.
2. Make sure that your hair is clean and free from
styling products.
3. Comb your hair to get rid of any tangles.
4. Switch on the curl styler by pressing the ON/OFF
button [6]. The heat-up phase is indicated by the
temperature display flashing. When the tempera-
ture display is continuously lit, the curl styler has
reached the set temperature setting and can be
used.
5. Set your desired temperature setting using the (+)
button [4] or the (-) button [5]. The current temper-
ature setting is shown on the LCD temperature
display [3]. The temperature can be permanently
set by pressing the ON/OFF button [6] twice. The

lock is deactivated. To deactivate the keylock,
press the ON/OFF button [6] twice again. The
