• the cow cleaning station is supplied as standard with 2 transport safety screws so that the carriage is unable to move
as a result of the tensed springs.
The safety screws should only be removed once the machine has been mounted securely to the wall.
• during installation and especially before commissioning, never reach inside the machine (behind the safety panels).
After wall mounting and before its first activation, the locking screw which is already fitted (Fig.
5) on the gears must be replaced with the enclosed ventilation screw (Fig. 4).
Failure to do this can destroy the gears!
Figure 4: Correct! Figure 5: Wrong!
The electronics control box above the machine must then be secured out of the reach of the animals.
The customer must protect the cables from the motor and sensor to the control box against
chewing / biting.
3.4. Electrical connection
The voltage and frequency must be 230 V / 50 Hz.
A 16 A alternating current socket must be installed to connect the machine and this must only be done by a licensed
electrical company. This must be installed out of the animals' reach (above the machine).
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility and offers no guarantee for any damage caused by connections not set up by
trained professionals.
Before commissioning, the machine must be conductively connected to the pen installation's potential equalisation system.
Local safety and earthing requirements must be observed. Ask your electrician!
The machine must be separately protected with a 16A fuse! If the machine is fuse-protected
with one or more large consumers, functional faults and damage can occur to the electronics!
4. Operation
4.1. Switching on
Once the power supply is connected, the machine is ready for operation after around 20 seconds.
The machine indicates its readiness for operation by displaying 3 lines in the display. (see Fig. 6)
Before this, the display indicates the current software version (R..), the switch-off resistance setting (factory setting F07)
and the cycle time (factory setting T07 - > 60 sec). (for further information, see 4.3 Display and electronics)
