trophon Printer - Instructions for Use
1. Once the trophon Printer is connected to the trophon EPR via the cable provided and
powered on, the printer will be automatically detected.
2. It is recommended that a Test Print is completed as the initial printed label before
trophon EPR High-Level Disinfection labels are printed (Refer to D1.6).
3. Printed label records will be available at the completion of each high- level disinfection
cycle completed by the trophon EPR.
NOTE: Records of previous high-level disinfection cycles can be re-printed from the trophon
printer by selecting MENU PRINTER REPRINT LAST RECORD.

1. Check the printer connection on the trophon EPR LCD screen:
Select MENU using the soft key button
Select PRINTER
Select TEST PRINT
2. The printer will print and cut a sample label, confirming correct connection.

Select the number of printed label record copies (1- 4) printed for each disinfection cycle.
1. Use the MENU soft key and select PRINTER
2. Select NUMBER OF LABELS

Replacing trophon Printer Label Roll
The trophon EPR will display notification when the label roll requires replacement via an on
screen LCD message: PRINTER OUT OF PAPER
Follow the setup instructions included in the printer box to load label roll.
D2.2
Cleaning the trophon Printer
1. Turn off the printer and unplug from the power socket before cleaning.
2. To clean the outside of the device, wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do NOT submerge the
device, or pour liquids over, or spray liquids onto the printer.
3. Use warm mild soapy solution to clean the outside covers of the printer, taking care not
to have liquid come in contact with the power socket, the interior of the trophon Printer
or label roll.
4.
Clean the printer head when replacing the label roll using a soft cloth with ethanol.
Refer to Figure 17 for printer head location.
