7. Working life

7.1 Drive units as delivered

The drive unit is delivered ready for operation as a standalone component.
Controllers, hand switches and accessories are not included with the electro cylinder as delivered.

7.2 Transport and storage

The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
Knocks and impacts to the drive shaft should be avoided during transport and storage. Damage
due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to RK Rose+Krieger GmbH
immediately.
It is forbidden to start up damaged drive units.
The following environmental conditions are laid down for drive unit storage:
•
no oil-contaminated air
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -20°C/+60°C
•
relative humidity: from 30% to 75%
•
Air pressure: from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
•
falling below the dewpoint is not allowed
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
