NEVER point tool at yourself or others in work area.

Keep fingers AWAY from trigger when not driving
nails to avoid accidental operation.

Do not drive nails on top of other nails or with Nailer
at too steep of an angle; nails can ricochet and hurt
someone.
•
Do not drive nails into thin boards or near corners and edges of workpiece. Nails
can be driven through or away from workpiece and hit someone.
•
Never use Nailer which is defective or operating abnormally.
•
Do not use Nailer as a hammer.
•
Wear safety glasses and safety shoes for protection against foreign objects.
•
Never use a Hammer with a loose head or splintered handle.
•
Use only nails from Hitachi.
•
NEVER use a defective tool. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately. Be
sure that operating mechanisms operate correctly and that all screws and seals
are securely tightened at all times.

METHODS OF OPERATION

OPERATION FOR USE OF THE NT50YF FLOORING NAILER
1. This tool is designed to properly seat the nail with one or SEVERAL blows of the
Hammer.
2. Tap the flooring into place with the non-marring rubber side of the Hammer.
3. Strike the Rubber Cap of the Nailer with the iron side of the Hammer.
4. The first two strips of flooring and the last six should be Face nailed with the
Face Nailing Shoe installed on the Nailer or by hand.
5. The NT50YF MUST be held firmly, but not over-tightly in the hand so that the
Nailer rests perfectly flat on the floor with the lip of the shoe hanging over and
against the edge of the strip being nailed. As an aid to holding it flat against the
floor, rest the toe of your shoe on the rear of the NT50YF Shoe.
6. DO NOT OVERPOWER THE TOOL– Strike it firmly but NOT HARD, and then
strike it again until the Ram returns. The Ram does not return until the nail is
properly seated.
7. Do not attempt to nail the last six strips of flooring down with the Angled Shoe
installed.

SELECCION DE CLAVOS

En esta pistola de clavos sólo se pueden usar los clavos que se muestran en la
tabla de abajo.
ADVERTENCIA
Asegúrese de usar solamente los sujetadores genuinos de HITACHI para la NT50YF. El uso de otros clavos
puede ocasionar el funcionamiento incorrecto de la herramienta y/o la ruptura de clavos, lo que puede provo-
car lesiones graves.
Dimensiones de los clavos (NT50YF)
La pistola de clavos manual NT50YF para pisos con suela estándar introduce los clavos en T de 1 3/16, 1 1/2 y
2 pulgadas en los pisos de ranura y lengüeta en un ángulo de 45º. Vea la orientación del clavo en la ilustración
de arriba.
