Warning!
Hazard from low temperatures
Frost can damage the air humidifier and make it harder to breathe.
→ After using for the first time with distilled water, only use and store the
air humidifier at temperatures above 4 °C.
Warning!
Hazard from loss of pressure
Changes to the safety valve can change the pressure in the breathing
protection apparatus.
→ Do not modify the safety valve. The safety valve is triggered at a
pressure of 2.2 bar.
Warning!
Danger from high water temperatures
The use of hot water can increase the temperature of the breathing air.
High water temperatures can result in scalding or cause damage to the
unit.
→ The water temperature must not exceed 60 °C.
Attention!
Damage from unsuitable liquid
The air humidifier can be damaged if non-distilled water is use.
→ Use distilled water.
9.1. Preparing the air humidifier
Attention!
Damage from starting too quickly
Starting too quickly can damage the membrane threads of the humidifier
module.
→ Wait 20 minutes after filling before connecting the air humidifier to the
air regulator and breathing protection hood.
