In the event of an emergency
In case of an emergency your child can be released quickly by pressing the red button
on the buckle of the car safety belt.
If your child seat has been involved in an accident, you MUST dispose of it and pur-
chase a new one. Even if your child seat shows no signs of damage, there may be
weakness that you are unable to see. If this child seat is involved in another accident
it may fail to protect your child.
For this reason we suggest that you never use or purchase a second hand car seat.
Checking the vehicle seat belt
WARNING: only use the MyWay Q-Fix child seat in the forward facing position. Your child
seat must only be installed forward facing using a three point seatbelt with retractor, in the
front or rear passenger seats of the vehicle

Q-Fix 2-3 can be installed on vehicle seats equipped with Isofi x anchor points, but ALWAYS
in combination with the car seat belt. To check the correct compatibility, see the Vehicle Ap-
plication list.
Checking the vehicle seat belt buckle
The position of the seat belt buckle can affect the stability of the child safety seat. In an ac-
cident this could stop the car seat from protecting your child as well as it should. If the buckle
lies across the seat as shown in the picture, this child safety seat is not suitable for use with
this seat belt or vehicle.

Fitting the child seat -15 to 25 kg. (Universal Category)
Install the child seat on the appropriate vehicle seat. Make sure the vehicle seat is upright
and in its most rearward position. Place the child into the car seat and fasten the seat belt.
Make sure that both sections of the seat belt guide pass through the armrest next to the seat
belt buckle.
Check that the seat belt has not become twisted and tighten by pulling the diagonal strap
upwards.

Adjusting the backrest height
Make sure that the diagonal vehicle seat belt section passes over the child's shoulder, but
does not touch his/her neck.
Fig. 5
To reach the right belt position, you can easily adjust the backrest height by following these
operations:
To raise the backrest: grip the top of the backrest and pull upwards until the diagonal car
seat belt section is in the positioned right on the top of the shoulder.
