5. INSTALLATION
Install the CD-player on a plane surface.
Make sure that the inclination angle will not exceed 15°, as the
CD cannot be read correctly otherwise.
The control panel's LCD's are designed to be clearly visible within
the angles shown in Figure 1. Mount the control panel so that the
visual angle is within this range.
Connect the CD-player with the RCA-cable to your mixer via the
Audio Out-sockets. Make sure that the right/left occupation (plug-
colour red/white) is the same at both devices.
CAUTION: Make sure that the CD-player is switched off (power-
switch in outer position) before you connect it to the mains in order to avoid damages on your loudspeakers.
Make sure that the indication on the Voltage-selector corresponds to the available voltage in order to avoid
severe damages.
Connect your CD-player with the mains.
CAUTION: Turn the amplifier on last and off first!
6. OPERATION
6.1 Setup
Switch the CD-player on via the Power-switch. If a CD is inserted the CD LED is lit. After the CD has been
read in, various information is indicated on the display. If no CD is inserted, „NO DISC" appears on the
display. For titles in the MP3 format, „MP3" is displayed and the file name of the title selected is indicated in
the text line.
6.2 CD Slot In
Insert your CD in the CD Slot In. Make sure that you only hold the CD with 2 fingers on the edge. Avoid
touching the inside area of the CD.
You can recall all memorized Cue-points, samples and effect-parameters from up to 500 CDs after switching
the CD-player off. Therefore, you have to switch the CD-player on, press the Memory-button (LED on) and
insert the respective CD. The CD source code is read and the Cue-points, samples and effect-parameters
memorized before will be loaded from the memory. The display shows "Recall" until the loading process is
finished.
6.2 Display
1. AUTO CUE - Auto Cue is activated.
2. SINGLE - Single title replay
3. LOOP - Sequence has been memorized or is played.
4. RELOOP - Sequence is replayed.
5. TIME MODE INDICATORS - Elapsed, remain, total remain
time
6. MINUTE - Elapsed time in minutes
7. SECOND - Elapsed time in seconds
8. FRAME - Elapsed time in frames
9. GRAPHIC INDICATOR - Elapsed or remaining track time
10. FOLDER /TRACK
11. PITCH - Speed adjustment in %.
